Schmid Maschinenbau

The company Schmid was founded in 1956 by the current senior director Albert Schmid. From the very beginning, the company specialized in the production and repair of hydraulic equipment and presses, as well as the manufacturing of the first Austrian snow groomers. Since 1980, SCHMID has been producing press brake tools, and since 1993, complete CNC press brakes. The company Schmid employs an average of 16 staff at 2 locations and trains apprentices.
