Steinbock Handling AG

The founding of STEINBOCK AG dates back to 1972 and was initially limited exclusively to the sales and service of forklift products bearing the same name, manufactured by Steinbock in Moosburg, Germany.

As the available space and facilities in Herrliberg soon became insufficient, in 1982 the company relocated to its own premises in Egg near Zurich, complete with a spacious workshop, infrastructure, and corresponding storage capacities. STEINBOCK Handling AG employs 25 staff members who are distinguished by their long company loyalty and extensive expertise. Thanks to these outstanding resources and a new strategic direction, the company was developed into two product groups with dedicated service and sales organizations:

Forklifts / Industrial Trucks
Aerial Work Platforms / Material Handling

Both core segments continue to make a significant contribution to our company and are regularly adapted to new market requirements. After production of STEINBOCK equipment in Germany ceased in 2005 and the last units came off the line, we were able to take over the general agency for MITSUBISHI Forklifts, the world-renowned Mitsubishi Group. The product range – from electric pallet trucks to high-bay forklifts – fits perfectly, enabling us as a full-liner to offer all types of forklifts and equipment.

Moreover, we also collaborate with additional forklift partners in niche and special equipment manufacturing, maintaining longstanding cooperative relationships.
