The rotary table grinding machines from Alex feature a mechanically driven rotary table that rests on precision hand-scraped flat guides and a completely backlash-free central bearing.

Since the rotary table performs only a single movement and both the feed and cross-feed are generated by the grinding wheel, these machines achieve the highest accuracy combined with shorter grinding times.

The cross and vertical spindle movements are mechanically driven and are completely separate from the table rotation. During manufacturing, we ensure an exact 90-degree angle between all axes.

The various automation levels can be expanded up to fully adaptive grinding with load-dependent feed for optimal output. A quick approach device can be used to reduce machining time for series parts.
