The PBS300 is a professional portable bandsaw for beams, structural timber, solid wood and complex wooden components. With a cutting height of 305 mm and a weight of only 19 kg, it combines substantial cutting capacity with excellent mobility.

Compatible with 6–13 mm blades, it handles tight curves, intricate contours and precise straight cuts in large timber sections. Ideal for carpentry, timber framing, joinery, workshops and construction sites.

PRECISION CAST ALUMINIUM WHEELS

The Ø203 mm wheels are cast from EN AC-43300 (AlSi9Mg) aluminium alloy according to EN 1706, with optimised mass distribution and reinforced geometry.

Precision turning and dynamic balancing reduce rotational imbalance and vibration, supporting smooth operation, stable blade tracking and accurate cutting.

DUAL BLADE GUIDANCE SYSTEM

On one side, steel-and-aluminium guides feature precision EDM-machined grooves. Their 180° reversible design allows a second groove to be used, extending service life.

On the opposite side, triple-bearing guides with standard 696 C3 bearings provide controlled blade support with low rolling friction.

Together, both systems help reduce blade heating, friction and premature wear, supporting accuracy and longer blade life.

ENGINEERED SIMPLICITY

Blade tensioning and lower-wheel tracking adjustment are integrated into one mechanical system. Setup is intuitive, precise and straightforward.

The frame uses carefully selected aluminium alloys, precision TIG-welded for durable joints.

Potential failure points are minimised through thoughtful engineering. Routine maintenance is largely limited to cleaning, inspection and adjustment.

INDUSTRIAL DRIVE & SERVICE

A 0.75 kW industrial induction motor, 230 V / 50 Hz, S1 continuous duty, delivers dependable performance with low maintenance requirements.

Standard blades, 696 C3 bearings and replaceable motor capacitors are locally available, helping minimise downtime. Original spares and accessories are supplied by Astra Pro.
