When the cylinder rotates, materials ascend to a certain height and then fall along a certain path due to the balls' gravity. Two forces are generated on the balls inside. These two forces will constitute a couple for the steel balls. The balls are squeezed between the cylinder and the adjacent steel balls, so the couple can make unequal-sized friction force. In conclusion, the ores in the cylinder body are mainly crushed by composite effect of peeling force, impact force and extrusion force.
