HERBOLD FA 3000

The Herbold FA 3000 Friction Washer is engineered for the intensive cleaning and dewatering of plastic flakes. With a 3 m rotor length, 500 mm diameter paddle rotor running at 1,000 rpm, a 2.5 mm perforated screen, and a standard drive of 18.5 kW (upgradable 11–22 kW), it delivers up to ~3.5 t/h for HDPE and PET and ~2 t/h for LDPE under optimal conditions. The unit features a pneumatically hinged cover, removable access panels, and optional hollow-shaft rotor flushing for automated cleaning. Replaceable wear parts and robust construction help minimize downtime.
