Principle: The dirty water is fed to the inlet of the lamella separator and flows downwards in it. Due to the arrangement of the lamella plates in the lamella separator, the dirty water is diverted below the lamellae and flows upwards through the lamellae. Thus, the solids sink to the bottom of the lamellas. The purified water is transported to the outlet. The solids on the lamellas gradually slide down along the lamella plates. This is where the sludge funnel is located.
Scraper: Optionally, we offer the lamella separator with a scraper, which keeps the sludge flowable.
Application: Separation of solids and liquids by sedimentation. Lamella separators are often used as a preliminary stage before filter presses or decanters for thickening. By pre-thickening a thin sludge, the filter press can be sized smaller in terms of filter area.
The plant is in good condition and is available for rent or purchase. An inspection at our plant is possible by arrangement. We also offer new lamella separators with a delivery time of approx. 8 to 10 weeks !
