The Stuart CB162 is an analogue hotplate stirrer combining heating and magnetic stirring capabilities. It has traditionally been used in lab settings for tasks requiring both uniform heating and effective mixing.

Plate material: Glass ceramic — highly resistant to chemicals and heat, easy to clean, with cooler edges to reduce burn risk.

Heating power: Approximately 500 W, capable of reaching a maximum plate temperature of about 450 °C.

Stirring speed: Variable from ~100 to 1,500 rpm, using strong magnetic coupling.
