Union model L.2.A.S. 5" x 24" Lathe.
Backgeared and Screwcutting lathe with a detachable gap bed.

A practical and characterful old lathe that works well and has plenty of capacity in a compact size.

From the family agricultural engineering workshop, which is now sold, hence the lathe is for sale.

3-phase 415v, so ideal for conversion to variable-speed drive from a 1-phase to 3-phase inverter (not included). 3-jaw chuck, faceplate and a collection of changewheels for screwcutting.

It works. I can send a video of it running.

Buyer to arrange and fund the shipment.

Foklifting onto your van / truck may be possible with the agreement of the new property owner. Please contact me if you would like to arrange this.
