Venjakob RNV 2.0 Exhaust Air Purification System
The system incinerates gaseous pollutants and odors from production exhaust air in order to release clean air into the environment.
Extraction: Process air containing solvents or odors (e.g., from painting facilities, the chemical industry, or printing plants) is fed into the system.
Preheating: The contaminated air flows through internal ceramic heat storage units and is heated to extremely high temperatures.
Combustion (Oxidation): In the combustion chamber, the natural gas feed (the support burner) ignites the air. At temperatures of up to 850°C, organic pollutants (VOCs) decompose completely into harmless water vapor (H₂O) and carbon dioxide (CO₂).
Energy recovery: The cleaned, hot air subsequently flows through a second ceramic bed, releasing its heat there.
The system "stores" the heat for the next batch of contaminated air.
This makes the system extremely energy-efficient, as very little additional gas firing is required after the start-up phase.
