Voortman V600

Voortman V600 drilling machine for profiles and flat steel with movable drilling unit.

The CNC-controlled drilling unit can be moved in longitudinal direction, adjustment or path measurement is from 0 - 18,300 mm. The maximum processing length of a steel profile is 15,000 mm. The tools for the HSS cooling channel drills are changed using a manual quick-change tool chuck. The workpiece is secured by a vertical hydraulic hold-down device which clamps the component (profile or flat steel) at the position previously approached for the drilling process.
The drilling unit includes web and flange height measurement, automatic electronic stepless feed and speed control (constant monitoring), which enables optimum cutting, adjustment by means of a frequency-controlled spindle drive, and the attachment of center punching points is possible.

Voortman control:

VACON 110, IBM compatible PC Pentium 233MHz with graphics card VGA / TFT.
CAD data for profile processing can be read in via USB stick as DSTV or NC data, as well as entered manually on the control panel of the system. The machine is equipped with Windows 98 -DOS.
