The resulting dirt particles, emulsion and oil mist, as well as smoke, are captured directly at the source and passed through the individual filtration stages. The separated liquid collects at the bottom of the unit and can be returned to the machining center via the siphon. In the first filtration stage, larger particles are retained by an aluminum pre-filter to protect the downstream high-performance fleece filters. The second filtration stage removes the majority of fine emulsion and oil mist. This stage consists of an aluminum frame equipped with a G4 filter mat and an F5 filter mat according to DIN 24185 / EN 779. The filter mats must be replaced depending on the degree of contamination. The third filtration stage consists of a large-area HEPA filter of class H13. A consistently high filtration efficiency of 99.95% at a particle size from 0.3μ DOP is ensured here. Type testing in accordance with DIN EN 1822-1 H13 allows the filtered air to be returned to the workspace.
