Weber Smart Assist (WSA)
- Evaluates signals from the machine’s internal sensors and displays them graphically using symbols
- Similar to previous engine protection on Weber MT units, the engine will automatically shut down if continued operation could cause engine damage
- The operator is also shown symbols indicating how to rectify any displayed faults
- If the air filter becomes heavily soiled, step-by-step instructions are shown for cleaning and replacing the filter element
- The Weber Smart Assist also includes the newly redesigned COMPATROL compaction control
- It provides a clear and easily understandable bar graph to display compaction progress
- Operation of the machine has also been updated: following engine start, vibration is activated at the push of a button
- The usual throttle lever is no longer required, as the engine speed is regulated automatically
