Since the unit uses dry-running cylinders, it eliminates the need for internal lubrication. Therefore, operators can use it in critical applications where they must avoid any air contamination. The Used Air Compressor CMC CWA11-800 40 bar operates with three cylinders across two compression stages. It draws air at atmospheric pressure and functions in ambient temperatures ranging from +1 to +35 °C. Consequently, the unit suits various environmental conditions. The system delivers an intake flow rate of 800 cubic meters per hour and reaches a maximum pressure of 42 bar. In addition, a 132 kW (180 HP) three-phase electric motor powers the compressor at 710 revolutions per minute, running on 400 Volts and 50 Hz. Mechanical Equipment and Functional Components


CMC designed the Used Air Compressor CMC  with a base frame supported by four anti-vibration feet. As a result, operators can install the unit directly on the floor without additional foundation work. The W-type compressor block features dry cylinders and pistons with PTFE-loaded sealing rings. In contrast to lubricated systems, this configuration prevents oil contamination. Furthermore, stainless steel suction and delivery valves include automatic unloader mechanisms that support load/unload functionality. In terms of transmission, the motor and compressor connect via trapezoidal belts, which simplify maintenance. The intake side also includes a silenced filter, while a protective cage improves operator safety.
