This machine has been designed and built to perform cutting and milling operations on plastics (PVC, Plexiglas, etc.), composites (BOND), and wood-based materials (MDF, chipboard, natural wood), as typically required in the furniture manufacturing and advertising production industries.
The main objectives during its design process were:
- Full use of standard-sized boards, both plastic and wood-based. Plexiglas, PVC, solid polycarbonate, and Stadur generally have dimensions of 2030x3030 mm, while MDF and chipboard usually go up to 2080x2800 mm.
- User-friendly operation. Thanks to the software support, a wide variety of operations are fully automated, freeing the operator from many tasks (automatic homing, measurement, calibration, automatic adjustment of cutting tool length, exhaust control, vacuum, automatic cooler, etc.).

- Easy maintenance and servicing. As far as possible, the use of demanding or hard-to-source components and assemblies has been avoided. To ensure the components operate under non-stressful conditions that could otherwise lead to real-world issues, many of them have been oversized. This ensures years of reliable operation before replacements are needed.
- Modular/disassemblable design. Due to their size, installation usually requires wide access ways. We managed to produce a machine with these useful dimensions that can still be brought in and assembled in spaces accessible by standard routes.
- Upgradable. To keep costs realistic, we acknowledge that certain savings have been made in the machine’s configuration. However, even during production, the machine is prepared to be equipped over time with more powerful or faster components, or those enabling new operations (e.g., spindle upgrades).
