H. Jouhsen Bag filling and sealing machine

Automatic machine for filling and sealing bags with liquid. Originally designed for aseptic filling and sealing of infusion bags.

Five-nozzle filling machine.

Process description:
1st station – Manual placement of the bag into the starwheel
2nd station – Cutting open the filling port; the cut-off piece is removed by vacuum into a separate container
3rd station – Start of filling
4th station – Continued filling
5th station – Continued filling
6th station – Continued filling
7th station – Finalise filling
8th station – Sealing of the filling port
9th station – Ejection of the filled bag

Filling is performed using overpressure through a central feed pipe. Each filling station is equipped with SIRAI valves that close a silicone filling tube (no moving parts in contact with the liquid, which facilitates cleaning and validation).

Each individual filling station can be set on the control panel via timer (millisecond accuracy). Filling volume is adjustable from 100 to 3000 ml.

The machine is constructed entirely from stainless steel 316, suitable for pharmaceutical production, and is mobile, mounted on wheels. The equipment is technically simple, easy to maintain, and highly compact (footprint less than 1 square metre).
